Howards Cams American Muscle 197715-10 hydraulic roller tappet camshaft for Chevy LS engines (see Applications tab) offers a similar throttle response and exhaust sound as the iconic OE camshaft grinds that inspired it, while also improving reliability and horsepower., patmckinneyracing. Summit cams are good cams. They are not old crane cams, someone started that rumor and it has spread like wildfire. I ran summit's .442/.465 camshaft for about 5 years and plenty of miles. Has a nice lope and excellent torque/performance. If I remember right, the LSA was 112 and a 214/224 dur. @ .050.
