OKLAHOMA CITY - The University of Oklahoma announced today the appointment of Darrin Akins, Ph.D., as vice president for research at the OU Health Sciences Center, pending approval by the OU Board of Regents. A national search was conducted to fill the role, and Akins will begin serving in his new position on April 9.
