AFAIK the 7.3's all use the same filter head, with the same fuel heater in it. The 6.9's had a fuel heater on the line between the lift pump and filter head.. Block heels amazon

The head bolts or studs are a weak point, the heads will lift above 10 or 12 psi in short order. Imho, idi is better for 'heavier' fuel. Injector fouling is less of a problem since there is one spray hole, and the pre-cup design stays hotter. So chances are, this may have been bleeding fluid pressure and lubricant from early on.

You need to clean the filter head rub it dry. I take the seal off the filter an rub completly with fresh oil an stick oring back on filter inside of the grooves an screw it on. That's the best way I use to only rub the top an screw on but found out this way is a thousand times better. I use the Motorcraft FL-1995 powerstroke filter as well.. Shweetnlow onlyfans leak

I picked this truck up when I still lived in NC (now in Adams County, PA) after it had sat for ~5 years according to the previous owner.I did a manual swap on my 89. Your 91 is like my 89, not sure if the pedals will swap. I know 1986-dwn will not swap. I used a 89 donor. The driveshaft was different. I could have used my auto driveshaft, but the 5 speed shaft was thicker and had larger u-joints. I had to swap the yoke on the rearend so the u-joint would fit.Is it making chuffing or popping noises in the intake or exhaust listen with the air cleaner off. Next I want you to loosen injection lines at the injectors one at a time this is a manual cylinder cut out if/when you find one that changes or makes noise go away swap that injector with another hole then start it back up and repeat the cylinder cut.You need to clean the filter head rub it dry. I take the seal off the filter an rub completly with fresh oil an stick oring back on filter inside of the grooves an screw it on. That's the best way I use to only rub the top an screw on but found out this way is a thousand times better.
